We think honesty is a virtue. And it is. But calling someone out on their flaws, to their face, isn't honesty. It's humiliation. Ayesha (RA) once made a small gesture about another person's appearance. Just a gesture. No words. The Prophet ﷺ said: "You have contaminated your words with it.
