In this Q&A session after the lecture on "Quran on Psychological Trauma" in Genk, Belgium, Ustadh Nouman Ali Khan takes on a question circulating heavily on social media: should Muslims follow the Quran alone and treat everything written by people with suspicion, especially when Allah asks أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ (29:51)? His answer refuses the easy shortcut. He explains that this debate was already raging in the first, second and third centuries of Islam, that hadith were not invented three hundred years later but gathered three hundred years later after circulating in scattered form, and that hadith scholars themselves never claimed one hundred percent exactness. 600,000-1,000,000 hadiths and more! were scattered and of those only 7,000..less than 1% were accepted as "sahih" and even those sahih contradict with other sahih compilations, and then shia have their own sahih Hadith. And you want to risk your soul following something you can't verify as God commands? 17:36 Heavy pass, I'll take my chances with the Quran alone
It’s funny Muslims attacked the Bible or Christians, but the truth is Muslims cannot understand Quran without outside sources( Hadiths or Scholars) that came 200-250 years ago after Muhammad! Thats insane and insults to their God! Fortunately, Bible need bible to understand the meaning and words of God 💯

the major criticism is that Quran calls those people who bring extra Quranic prohibitions as spreader of falsehood about Allah. All the credibility of hadith compilers like Bukhari and Muslim is itself doubtful. 1. ALLAH HIMSELF GUARDS THE QURAN - Not Men 15:9 إِنَّا نَحْنُ نَزَّلْنَا الذِّكْرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُ لَحَافِظُونَ [Indeed, it is We who sent down the Message and indeed, We will be its guardian.] 2. Quran is in a Preserved Tablet with Allah - Not in human chains 85:21-22 بَلْ هُوَ قُرْآنٌ مَّجِيدٌ. فِي لَوْحٍ مَّحْفُوظٍ [But this is an honored Quran. in a Preserved Slate.] 56:77-80 إِنَّهُ لَقُرْآنٌ كَرِيمٌ. فِي كِتَابٍ مَّكْنُونٍ. لَّا يَمَسُّهُ إِلَّا الْمُطَهَّرُونَ. تَنزِيلٌ مِّن رَّبِّ الْ
The Quran is the judge. Any hadith that goes against it is rejected. Any hadith that compliments the gist of the Quran is accepted.
This brother Nouman Ali Khan just lied unfortunately, the hadith of how to pray a unit of salah with rukuh and sajdahs etc is a hadith in Bukhari. Search the hadith of the one who prayed incorrectly. I'm surprised he didn't know this hadith to be honest.
33:21 💖لَّقَدْ كَانَ لَكُمْ فِى رَسُولِ ٱللَّهِ أُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ لِّمَن كَانَ يَرْجُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَ وَذَكَرَ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرًا ٢١ “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example for whoever has hope in Allah and the Last Day, and remembers Allah often.” So if you follow only Quran this ayah is a PROOF that you should follow the Messenger (peace be upon him). And how you can follow him? Exactly! By studying his life story through hadiths. The question now is
We need series about the history of hadhith but carefull ustadh.Because most of ulama they might declare you apostate.
I recommend people listen to Baba Shuaib who also answers the sister’s question but in much more depth. I would like to see a YouTube discussion between Baba and Nouman on this topic. I’m sure Baba would agree to it.
