Ahmed Paul Keeler was born in 1942 and was the founder and director of the World of Islam Festival, held in London in 1976 and opened by Her Majesty the Queen, the most comprehensive exposition of Islamic culture ever staged in the West. He is a Visiting Fellow at the Centre of Islamic Studies, University of Cambridge, and the author of Rethinking Islam & the West: A New Narrative for the Age of Crises, in which he introduced the Mizan Thesis, and A Life's Journey: The Story Behind the Book.
