El-Sayed, Mamdani and the Future of Muslims in the West | Dr. Yasir Qadhi

In this OnePath Podcast, Dr. Yasir Qadhi joins us for a frank conversation about what it means to live as a Muslim in the West today: our responsibility before Allah, to our families, and to the communities we call home. Dr. Qadhi shares his perspective on the rise of Muslim politicians such as Zohran Mamdani and Abdul El-Sayed, why he does not endorse candidates, and why no politician will ever be our saviour. He also speaks candidly about the idealism behind migration. We also discuss the revival among young Muslims since Gaza, how online division distorts the reality of our communities, his first visit to Syria, the lessons of Salahuddin, and the spiritual cost of handing our thinking over to AI. Dr. Yasir Qadhi is the Dean of the Islamic Seminary of America, the Resident Scholar at the East Plano Islamic Center in Texas, and the Chairman of the Fiqh Council of North America.
