When Feelings Wear a Religious Mask

A person can quote Quran, use Islamic language and appear deeply religious while still being controlled by their own feelings. Putting Alhamdulillah beneath something does not automatically make that action pleasing to Allah. The danger is assuming that because we look religious, speak religiously or have the right vocabulary, our hearts must automatically be right. The Quran teaches us not to declare ourselves pure.
