The Muslim Women RECLAIMING Islamic Scholarship | Raz Aziz
OnePath Networkوصف المقطع
In this OnePath Podcast, Raz returns two years on to share 42 days studying in Syria with no program and no teachers lined up. She takes us inside a Hadith school founded, taught and attended entirely by women, a tradition that during the war survived in homes and hidden study circles, and tells the story of being told a class was cancelled, only to end up sitting front row beside the school’s founder. We also talk honestly about imposter syndrome, why manners must come before knowledge, how consistency changed far more than her studies, five years since she put on the hijab, and why the Hadith rejection noise online looks very different once you have seen the people preserving it. Raz Aziz is a Sydney-based Muslim influencer, youth worker and community advocate of Kurdish background. She studies Arabic and Hadith weekly with her teacher in Sydney and documented her time studying in Damascus through daily Arabic vlogs. 🔔 Subscribe to our YouTube to stay up to date with our latest productions. 🎉 Introducing the official OnePath Network MERCHANDISE STORE! 🏷️ 👕 👉 https://shop.onepathnetwork.com/ If you enjoy OnePath content, please consider supporting us to grow! ►https://onepathnetwork.com/dollar-a-day/?&utm_source=youtube&utm_medium=description Download the OnePath Network App for access to the latest and exclusive videos: https://onepath.onelink.me/mJxr/3de973bd Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQHRLH8RQIrdGWMhf5heWiA/join Facebook ►: https://www.facebook.com/onepathnetwork Instagram ►: https://www.instagram.com/onepathnetwork/ Patreon ►: https://www.patreon.com/OnePathNetwork The views and opinions expressed by guests, interviewees and contributors featured in OnePath Network content are their own and do not necessarily reflect the views or editorial position of OnePath Network. I swear by God that I only speak out because of hunger, poverty, and dire circumstances. My younger siblings and I have gone three days without food. Every hour, our landlord knocks, demanding rent and threatening to throw us out onto the street if we do not pay. O people with compassionate hearts—I swear by the One who raised the heavens and spread out the earth—there is not even a single day’s worth of food in our home; we are suffering immensely, relying only on the occasional help of neighbo
